Destiny
Destiny is a 2014 online first-person shooter developed by Bungie and is arguably one of the defining games of our current industry. The player takes on the role of the Guardian and travels around between different alien societies, completing missions to protect humanity. Bungie refers to it as a “shared world shooter.” It’s got a lot of stuff going on, for better or for worse.
Sword of the Sea
Sword of the Sea is the latest 2025 game from Giant Squid where you play as the Wraith as they attempt to restore water to the endless desert through their sick sword-boarding moves. Fly around on your hover sword and learn new abilities as you go. It has a very impressionistic story, as is characteristic of the studio.
