Silent Hill is a survival horror game by Team Silent, a team from within Konami. The first installment came out in 1999 for the Playstation, and the team would create three more after that before development moved to a different team. Unlike other horrors or shooters at the time, the protagonist was an everyman, meaning that his abilities (such as aim) were of a normal person. That’s definitely Madelyn’s worst nightmare.

Yakuza

Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, Yakuza 6

Yakuza, or Like a Dragon as the series is known in Japan, is a vaguely open-world beat-em-up that focuses on the way of life of Japanese yakuza over the recent history of Japan. The series protagonist is Kazuma Kiryu, sometimes of the Tojo clan, sometimes of the ex-Tojo clan. Along with proving his innocence in a murder, being in prison, raising orphans, and other serious stuff, Kiryu also enjoys singing karaoke, bowling, and hiring chickens to work at his real estate office. He’d have the world’s weirdest dating site profile.
