Hello, and welcome to another episode of Talk This! It’s Dangerous to Podcast Alone. This week, we’re talking about Portal and Abzû and jeez, typing this up is going to be a hassle with that accent circumflex. Anyway, I guess there’s swimming and some cake maybe, I don’t know. As usual, you can listen to our podcast basically anywhere you want. Check it out on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, or Spotify or head over to our episodes page for even more options.
Portal
Portal is a puzzle-based first person shooter from Valve back when they made video games instead of doing whatever it is they do with Steam. The good old days, eleven years ago. In the game, play as Chell, a girl doing a series of experiments for Aperture Science as she follows the instructions of the robot GLaDOS. However, it’s possible not everything is as it seems. I know. Pretty shocking!
Abzû
Abzû is an adventure video game in the vein of Journey from Giant Squid Studios. The hero, a diver, takes a journey through the dazzling land of beneath the sea. With beautiful visuals and an even more beautiful soundtrack, the game transports its player into the forgotten depths of the ocean. Also, you can become bffs with a shark, which is always pretty cool.
