Hello, and welcome to another episode of Talk This! It’s Dangerous to Podcast Alone. This week, we’re talking about Fallout and Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy, two different games set in the same post-nuclear dystopia. Watch the world burn with us. As usual, you can listen to our podcast basically anywhere you want. Check it out on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, or Spotify or head over to our episodes page for even more options.
Fallout is a series of post-nuclear role playing games created by Interplay and Black Isle Studios and now made by Bethesda. Take on the role of a Vault Dweller and explore the ruined earth above in a variety of cities and locations across the four main installments. Originally turn-based, the game now features real time combat elements and open world exploration.
Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy
Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy is the latest game from the developer of QWOP, so you should already know what sort of nonsense you’re getting yourself in to. Control a man in a cauldron using only your mouse to move his hammer and attempt to bring him up to the top of a mountain. But be warned! If you fall back down again, you’ve lost all your progress. There’s no autosaves or checkpoints in this game, nuh-uh.
Enjoy the episode! If you’ve got some time, why don’t you check out the Play This! series on our YouTube channel?
