Episode 70. Luigi and the Jump Boys

Hello, and welcome to another episode of Talk This! It’s Dangerous to Podcast Alone. This week, we’re talking about Luigi’s Mansion and Jump Force. We had a bit of a technical difficulty in this one, but we rolled with it. Just some ghosts haunted the microphone or something. Thematically appropriate.

As usual, you can listen to our podcast basically anywhere you want. Check it out on Apple PodcastsGoogle PodcastsSpotify, and on the Pandora app (or head over to our episodes page for even more options). Or just listen below!

Luigi’s Mansion

Luigi’s Mansion is the second game in Nintendo history to star Luigi as the main protagonist. Honestly, in my opinion, every Nintendo game should star Luigi. Even Fire Emblem. Anyway, Luigi wins a mansion in a sweepstakes he didn’t enter, and he goes to check it out with his brother. Only Mario vanishes! Luigi must use the inventions of Dr. E. Gad to take on this haunted mansion and rescue his inferior brother.

Jump Force

Jump Force is a fighting game from Spike Chunsoft celebrating the 50th anniversary of Shounen Jump. The heroes of the famous manga magazine have come to our world, and they’re here to fight! Like, there’s some evil threatening to merge all the worlds or something, but mostly they’re here to duke it out with each other using all their classic moves. Also, the evil threatening the world is probably just the faces on these guys. Like, these characters look terrifying. Not gonna lie.
