Emma’s been living her virtual life in Shibuya with The World Ends with You and her new GameFly game 428 Shibuya Scramble. Honestly, not sure if Shibuya Scramble counts as a game. I mean, I believe visual novels are games, but it calls it “reading” itself, so. But it’s still been fun. Meanwhile, Madelyn’s adventures with Champ McDude hit a rocky patch as everyone discovers their secret identity as a Phantom Thieves. She’s also forcing CBB through Chain of Memories, the poor sucker.
Weather Report
How much merch can two girls buy? Lots of it. Lots of merch. It turns out, to the shock of no one, that there’s a 100% chance of Madelyn and Emma buying an excessive amount of Kingdom Hearts merchandise before the release of Kingdom Hearts 3. I, personally, want a framed poster of Hayner drop-kicking Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, in the back of the head. I knew he was the true hero.
Off-Topic Corner
This spring, we plan to fly around a lot. A whole lot. Way too much. But it’s for fun stuff! First, we will be at PAX East Thurs-Sat this year, so make sure to look out for us if you’ll be there. Then, we submitted a paper to the Pop Culture Association conference, and we’ll be presenting there! Finally, and most excitingly, we are going to Japan! If you have travel tips, let us know. For example, how do we survive a 13 hour long flight, please advise.
Traffic Report
So our traffic report had some mistakes this week, and we apologize for that. Emma went to visit our special guest hosts Milena and Aurora this weekend, and she didn’t have the time to put the last Split Screen together. We’ll be pushing it back a week. However, in replacement, you can check out CBB’s reaction to the latest Kingdom Hearts trailer on our YouTube! Norty’s back, baby! There’s also one Split Screen as well. Also, there are the two regularly scheduled CBB blogs with the end of Birth by Sleep and the start of Re: Coded.
Question of the Fortnight
If you had to make a live-action My Hero Academia, who would you cast as the one, the only All-Might? Let us know who’d you like to see as the hero. I’m hoping for some casting variety in terms of race, but do you think it should be an all Asian cast? How will they make Deku’s hair convincingly green? No, how will they make Bakugo’s hair convincingly white-ish? HOW WILL THEY MAKE TODOROKI’S HAIR? HOW WILL THEY MAKE MINETA?!?!?!?!!
