The Topic

Key art for Pokemon ZA showing two characters back to back with their Pokemon

What goes into making a game across console generations? Why are games still being made for the PS4 this many years into the new generation? What would the next generation of consoles even look like? Where can anyone get a Switch 2 dev kit?

The Actual Discussion

Honestly, we get pretty off topic in this one, but it’s still a good discussion. We talk a lot about the Switch 2 and why it’s been so successful despite what seems like so much working against it. We also talk about how few games most gamers actually buy in a year, and what that could mean for the next generation of consoles. Plus, we wonder how one even makes sure that everything runs on all the different kinds of PC out there.
