Episode 239. Hearth in Orbit

Hello, and welcome to another episode of Talk This! It’s Dangerous to Podcast Alone. This week, we’re talking about Hearthstone and MIO: Memories in Orbit. I’m glad I’m not into any card games.

As always, you can listen to our podcast basically anywhere. Check it out on Apple PodcastsYouTubeSpotify, or Pandora (or head over to our episodes page for even more options). Or just listen below!

Hearthstone

Cards pulled out of a treasure chest in Hearthstone

Hearthstone is a collectable card game from Blizzard Entertainment, originally spun off from World of Warcraft and still using the general lore for their expansion passes. Put together a deck and take on other players online to see who can defeat the other player’s hero first. The game is technically free to play but heavily encourages microtransactions.

(There are many reasons not to play Hearthstone, including preserving your sanity, but not least of which that it’s currently under the BDS Xbox boycott).

MIO: Memories in Orbit is a new metroidvania from Douze Dixièmes release in January 2026. Play as a robot named Mio who must explore a failing ship known as The Vessel to figure out what’s wrong and keep it alive. The game leans heavily on the exploration and platforming parts, but it also features combat.
