Postal
Postal is a 1997 shooter from Running With Scissors and the first game in a series that revels in trying to be “shocking” to its audience. Shoot your way through your town (most of the town is also trying to shoot you) and get lost in the violence. Later games continue to lean into “equal opportunity” mockery to less and less effect.
Saltsea Chronicles
Saltsea Chronicles is a 2023 adventure game from Danish studio Die Gute Fabrik. After your captain is kidnapped and your ship is stolen, a crew must work together to investigate, visiting different islands along the way. The player controls the whole crew rather than single characters at a time.
