Touhou Project
Touhou is a long-running indie shoot-em-up series of video games, most known for its wide cast of characters. Very few restrictions are imposed on fan content, meaning there are tons of Touhou experiences outside the official development too. Decades of fan fervor have worked to make this one of the biggest things in Japan.
Marvel’s Wolverine
Marvel’s Wolverine is Insomniac’s take on the iconic character, released in September 2026. The game follows a very different version of Wolverine than most of the movies or the comics have portrayed. It released to mixed reviews, but you can’t say it wasn’t trying things narratively, even if it was let down mechanically.
