Hello and welcome to another Side-Quest episode of Talk This! It’s Dangerous to Podcast Alone! We’re to fill you in on what we’ve been playing and what’s been going on in games lately. Nobody died in this week’s smash announcement, I was incredibly disappointed. Seriously Nintendo, I only watch these announcements for the VIOLENCE.

Madelyn plays more Persona 5, and expresses her disappointment that Ryuji’s second awakening doesn’t do anything cooler. I guess, when he’ll already die for you, there’s nowhere to go but down in a relationship. Meanwhile, Emma talks about her lackluster time with Blue Reflection. Persona x Madoka Magica – cool stuff = Blue Reflection. She’s also been playing Gravity Rush which is a much more fun time.
Weather Report
We chat about the latest Nintendo Direct, and whether or not we’ll buy more than one of the games announced or talked about during the video. The World Ends With You is already pre-ordered for Emma, but she wasn’t as excited about anything else, except maybe the Final Fantasy games. Madelyn, meanwhile, stares sadly at her empty wallet, thinking about all the remakes she can’t afford to buy for herself.
Off-Topic Corner
We loved Avatar: The Last Airbender and, if you’ve yet to watch it, you should take a break from listening to our episode to give it a shot. The creators of that show just released their new show on Netflix: The Dragon Prince. However, after watching the first episode, Emma was….underwhelmed. If you can tell me what they were going for with this animation style, we would love to know the rationale. So, hit us up and give us an explanation please!
Traffic Report
These past few weeks have mostly been about our regularly scheduled content, with the exception of the mostly humiliating Fortnite compilation that you can see above. Otherwise, there have been two new Split Screens and two new Clickbait Boyfriends. Catch up on these series if you haven’t! Split Screen will now come out on Wednesday!
