Hello and welcome to another Side-Quest episode of Talk This! It’s Dangerous to Podcast Alone! In this episode, we reveal ourselves to not be economics majors because we honestly have very little understanding of unions and strikes. However, we can design a killer course catalog, so it’s possible we’re education majors.
As always, you can listen to our podcast basically anywhere you want (including right below!). Check it out on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, or Spotify or head over to our episodes page for even more options.

The past few weeks have been pretty manageable gameplay-wise for Emma and Madelyn with Emma focusing most of her attention on finishing Tales of Vesperia and Madelyn working her way through Kingdom Hearts 3. Emma also found some time to try out the Daemon x Machina demo on the Switch, while Madelyn returned to Persona 5 briefly. She’s so close to being done, cheer her on!
Weather Report
We talk about the Activision Blizzard layoffs, the shoddy way they were handled, and the possibilities for unionization in the industry with a charming naivete. Overall, I think we should just agree that this was not the best way to handle layoffs, and it’d be nice if there was an organization that game workers could fall back on to advocate for them.
Off-Topic Corner
We’re soliciting for your ideas! Emma has an assignment where she has to go to a “themed attraction” but she’s preferably looking for one that’s cheap and doesn’t require a large group to make it fun. Does such a thing exist in the Northeast United States? Probably not, but still, help me find something please!!!
Traffic Report
In addition to the new Play This! which you can watch above, we also had our regularly scheduled blog content including a Clickbait Boyfriend (complete with drawings by Madelyn!) and two Split Screens. The next CBB is finally starting Kingdom Hearts 3, so you better look forward to it!
Question of the Fortnight
With the news that the latest Fire Emblem is gonna be set within a high school, we wanted to think about what sorts of classes the students might partake in. What would be your favorite FE high school class? Let us know in the comments or on social media!
